Valden Volgar, the Tyrant King of Brachenstahlcal,  also known as “the Great Boar”, was no warrior king or holy prophet. He had never fought, starved, or suffered. Raised in privilege by a corrupt aristocracy, he was born into a bloodline that clawed its way to the throne. The House of Volgar bought titles, forged ties, and murdered rivals until their royalty was secure.

Valden ruled from a cathedral high above his starving kingdom, feasting endlessly. His excess turned him into the embodiment of the Horseman of Famine. Gluttony warped him, manifesting infernal power within him and mutating his body. He stands over five meters tall, swollen and grotesque. One massive arm serves his enormous appetite, letting him shovel entire platters in one swoop.

Valden was permitted to bask in his illusion of divine authority, while the unchecked and unrestrained military ruled in his shadow, free to exploit, pillage, and impose their will without consequence
